It’s been 2 short years since Mark Gunter died after a very short battle with an aggressive cancer. His wife Leeanne Gatien, teamed up with CyclingTips last year to start the Mark Gunter Photographer of the Year Awards. 2016 was a success with so many inspiring images entered from all over the world, and all money raised was donated to help cure cancer, to young cyclist assistance, and to start an education fund for Mark & Leeanne’s son Lucas, who is now 3 years old.
