In 2013 new regulatory provisions were introduced establishing the obligation for all members of the press wishing to drive a vehicle in the race convoy to hold a “licence for a vehicle driver in a road event.” In addition, this regulation requires: “all holders of a ‘licence for a vehicle driver in a road event’ (para 1.8 of art. 1.1.010) to also be in possession of a ‘Driver’s certificate delivered by the UCI’ if wishing to drive a vehicle in the race convoy during a UCI WorldTour event.” Holders of a licence for all other functions (art. 1.1.010) are exempt from this obligation. Accordingly all members of the press wishing to drive a vehicle in the race convoy during a UCI WorldTour race are obliged to have a green sticker.

In cooperation with the International Association of Cycling Journalists (AIJC) five courses have been scheduled for the 2015 season:
– Saturday March 21st at 11am in Milan, before Milan-Sanremo
– Thursday March 26th at 1.30pm in Harelbeke, before the E3 Harelbeke
– Saturday April 18th at 2pm in Maastricht, before the Amstel Gold Race
– Saturday June 6th at 2pm in Albertville, before the Critérium du Dauphiné
